Isn't Facebook likely to give more grief about porn? How about Dreamwidth?

I'm not posting porn exactly, just the censored versions that don't show anything at all. Just a tease, that way i'm technically not posting porn, just linking to a website that relinks to porn, so i'm not even linking it directly on fb.

It's practically the same thing i do here. The manips are hosted on imgur which does allow porn.

You will get your ass kicked out of Facebook SO FAST if you even post LINKS to your manips. I tried to post an official video of one of the Glee numbers that used to be on the official GleeOnTV YouTube channel (got taken down so they could put new ones up), and Facebook immediately told me I was posting copyrighted content and if I went ahead and posted it my account would most likely be deleted without warning and I would be banned from Facebook.

If you read the terms of service, "pornographic material" is also a no-no, as well as links to it. I think you'd be safer moving to Dreamwidth or Insane Journal (if Insane Journal still exists).

Dreamwidth (http://www.dreamwidth.org) is an LJ clone, run by actual normal human people who value their users. It has about 85% of the functionality of LJ (and they detail clearly what is NOT the same), and you can import your entire LJ their without problems - posts, comments, userpics and all. (Images and Scrapbook are one major difference - those do not import). You can also post on DW and auto-crosspost from DW back to LJ (which many on my flist now do). Give it a look. It's available in free and paid versions (I think), and serves as my backup for if/when LJ becomes untenable. Much friendlier to fringe elements too.

I'm not posting the images on facebook, just teases, same way i do it here. And i'm not linking it to porn, i'm linking it to adfly and that relinks to porn, so my actual FB link goes to adfly, not the manip.

Fan art doesn't count as copyrighted material. But a video from FOX does. They have no way to know which kind of headshot i used for my art. It could've been a picture i took myself!

And i'm not leaving LJ, just using FB as a backup and double postng everything because i think LJ will be kinda obsolete in a few years.

I will bookmark it certainly but not sure how long it'll last, Facebooks pretty iffy with the nudity stuff and the pornish images. I know it's cliche but, there's always tumblr. In some ways it really is, except for the background options Its just your normal user just want easily accessible. Social Media fads will come and go like everything else in life lol
